[摘要]危急重症起病急骤、病情变化快，临床致残率高、死亡率高。目前西医治疗多以脏器支持治疗为主，缺乏特异性。中医外治法种类繁多，方法多样，疗效显著。本文基于文献的检索和查阅，对重症医学科常见危重疾病的相关中医外治法进行总结，以期为中医外治法在危急重症的临床应用提供更多的思路与方法。
