[摘要] 组织工程修复软骨缺损是组织工程技术运用于临床最具可行性的研究领域之一，而种子细胞是软骨组织工程研究及临床应用的基本要素和首要环节。本文结合国内外的研究成果，对组织工程修复软骨缺损中种子细胞的研究现状进行回顾，综述种子细胞的特点、来源、种类以及培养和鉴定，以期为软骨组织工程的进一步发展提供依据。
